That one is so true of may protest that last long enough to be co-opted by other groups and special interests. The occupy wall street started, I think as a protest of corporate welfare, greed and coruption? It grew to other cities occupying public spaces in protest of whatever.

With the same cartoon I have a caption asking "Sir, what are you protesting?" His reply would be, "Dunno, I'm with her."

Don't worry I wont be putting one up or anything, but as an item of interest, depicting the prophet Mohammed's image isn't scripturally forbidden. Claiming it is, is a modern invention not upheld by the Qur'an or a-Hadiths (Muslim version of the Jewish Talmud.) Excellent page here explaining it as well as showing many classic depictions by Muslims themselves.
