EMR Wave-Particle Duality and Atomic Structure

The De Broglie hypothesis, which attributed wave-like nature to matter, was confirmed experimentally for the electron, and wave-particle duality was formalised by Schrödinger's equation, and extended by Dirac’s equations, to form a theoretical foundation for Quantum Mechanics. Although the use of the wave-particle duality has been widely accepted, the meaning or physical interpretation has not been satisfactorily resolved.

This newly published paper (http://vixra.org/pdf/1811.0470v2.pdf) uses a helical solenoid structure (see Oliver Consa, 2018) for photons and a toroidal solenoid structure for static particles such as electrons, positrons and preons. The helical solenoid model for photons provides them with wave-like and particle characteristics supportive of wave-particle duality.

The paper also develops atomic structure using these models of sub-atomic particles which is somewhat different to the orbital nuclear model.
