I've just watched this stunning movie (and I'm not just talking about Sandra Bullock's stunning "out-of-spacesuit" look). I haven't seen a review on this forum yet, but I enjoyed it despite a few "doubtful physics" instances. If you haven't seen it, do it!

I found an astronaut's opinion on the film here:

Best not to read the whole review until you have seen the movie, but it does give a spoiler warning at the appropriate place.

My favorite quote from the review: "Once Sandra caught him, he would be just floating there. A small tug on his tether would send him back to the space station. And as my wife put it, when you have a hold of George Clooney, only an idiot would let him go."

I think this was a fantastic movie. I liked it, will see the reviews now. :)
